My name is Alison, and I first fell in love with music at 2 years-old in my Suzuki piano class. My love for piano branched out into singing and theatre, and after studying vocal performance and theatre at Florida State University, I became a professional actress and singer. In 2005, I opened a theatre company and began teaching private voice lessons.
When COVID came along, a lot changed, including my home address. I had always wanted to live on the coast "some day", and if COVID taught us anything, it was that "some day" may not be there. I made some major changes in my life.

In 2022, I moved from my hometown of Peachtree City, Georgia to Saint Helena Island, South Carolina, and I couldn't be happier. After becoming a single mom by choice to a brilliant, beautiful daughter (who is now 2.5 years-old), I reconnected with my love of music and sought ways to introduce it to her and include her in it.
​And that brings us to.... NOW!
I am accredited to teach the entire Kindermusik program (ages baby-7 years-old) and plan on opening my studio in Beaufort and in Bluffton.​ Kindermusik classes will be available along with private voice lessons and audition preparation classes for ages 5 and up. Adults, too!

I also have some other big plans for The Cat's Meow Productions. Think cabarets, plays, murder mysteries, and historical immersion events, but first... Kindermusik.
